  2. Obtain 2 references on the bachelor’s social work level and 1 reference on the practicum level
  3. Complete the Bachelor’s level Social Work Exam

LMSW: Licensed Master’s Social Worker

  1. Graduate with a Master’s degree from an accredited program and satisfy the K.A.R. requirements
  2. Obtain 2 references from social workers on the Master’s Level and 1 reference from a practicum advisor
  3. Complete the Master’s level Social Work Exam

LSCSW: Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker

  1. Obtain a Master’s degree in Social Work
  2. Obtain 2 references from social workers on the Clinical level and 1 reference from a work supervisor
  3. 4,000 hours of supervised clinical work experience in a clinical setting with supervisor documentation
